Before returning to Malaysia, I had chance to visit Ancol in Jakarta. Last year, I went there but did not managed to go to all places because it is too big. Those who want to know where it is just surf the web at http://www.ancol.com/

This time I went there again and took few photos... I did not went to Dufan because last year I already went there. This visit, I went to Ancol Beach, Atlantis and Gelanggang Samudra...

As I walked in the park.. I saw this cute cow selling dairy milk... Unfortunately, I can't drink the milk due to Lactose Intolerance... But he/she is so cute in this uniform...

Ciledug Market in Cirebon

Cirebon(formerly referred to as Cheribon in English) is a city on the north coast of the Indonesian island of Java. It is located in the province of West Java, approximately 297 km east of Jakarta.

When I reached Jakarta, it still took me approxiamtely 4 hour and above to reach Cirebon by Train. If travel by motocycle, the journey perhap will take 7 to 9 hour reaching to destination.

Before I went back to Jakarta, my sisters brought me to the small market called "Pasar Ciledug" where they lived nearby. I went to the market by public transport and went back home by "kereta kuda." Actually I had nothing to buy there, my intention to go to the market is just to snapped few photos and publish here. Let see what I got :

Now we go inside:

In Brunei, most of the weighing machine is like this in the market:

Lebaran In Cirebon, West Java Indonesia

This time I went to Cirebon to celebrate the 'Idul Fitri" with my family. The life in Cirebon is so simple and do not cause headache and "stress free" life from political and everyday routine work as in Brunei. I am happy to see them happy... I sent them cakes and biscuit earlier on via Bu Peppy because I do not expect to go there.

Cakes that I sent for my family at Ciledug, Cirebon. Total 4 cakes: 1 durian flavour cake especially ordered and made for my mom at Cirebon, other 2 cakes is for the house members. and another 1 is for Bu Ati (photo not available)

Wedding Ceremony in Kuningan among Sudanese

On 22nd September 2009... before i went to 'Curug Si Domba' in Kuningan, I had opportunity to witness the wedding ceremony among the Sudanese culture. I managed to take few photos with her. This is what I got... The wedding is so simple compared to Bruneian Malay ceremony or Chinese wedding Ceremony...

Due to my curiosity, i discussed with kak Ijah and want to make up in sudanese wedding uniform.. but just a simple make up and no flower. The reason is because the flower need to be ordered in advance. Afternoon after the wedding ceremony I went to a place called "Curug Si Domba" in Kuningan.

Night time, I tried this uniform and make up like this... Bit funny... feel uncomfortable in that clothes but after all, fun... Due to my body size, I can only wear this red colour wedding gown compared to other colour... According to them, this red wedding gown is new and necer been wear before.. so I am the first.. hehe....
All photos in here... "Free from Audit" and purely original...

First Raya Celebration at Cirebon

I travelled from Jakarta to Cirebon at 11 30 am. It took approximately 4 hour journey by train. Once we arrived in Train station at Gambir, Jakarta, it was such a long queue. The seat was unavailable but we still bought the ticket. At the end, we have to seat on the floor with hot and uncomfortable and limited spaces... but after all, I like this kind of experiences..because it teach me how to be strong and independently. Every time I went to jakarta, it always make me feel that I am so lucky being a Bruneian under the Rule of His Royal Majesty Brunei.

Tonight, I requested to go out and had a looked the Ciledug village. Fortunately, I brought my digital camera with me. This is what I encountered.

This is normal culture of Sundanese. This is kind of an entertainment and perform by a group of people. Some of them dance, play musics instrument and some do sing and some help in carry the things. The name of this show is called "Burok". They will go to house at requested and for rent purposes. This show usually will be performed during some festival such as Raya Celebration, when a person in the house is having circumcision or "bersunat" and also on every 17 august. This is because on that day, this kind of show will enrolled in the competition to choose the winner of Burok.

Personally, I always likes and interest in other people cultures especially art & theatre, calligraphy and songs. It always make me feels calm and an eye opener for me.
